Summer Schedule! |
As most of you know, I usually take a full month off every year to address my own health and balance. This year it will be a little different since I was very involved with family all year and already took some extended times off. I will have limited availability through the month of June. There are several days with appointment availability. If you need to talk to me and there is no time on the scheduler (link is below), just drop me an email, I am happy to find a time for you.
I do have a few products that are on sale through the end of June:
- Derma T Tropin - $69
- Irvingia - weight loss - $39
- Immugen 2 oz - $14
Welcome to Summer Fun!
With summer almost upon us, it is a good time to start thinking about ways to keep yourself healthy when playing in the fun and the sun. This is the time of year when people spend more time outside, exposing themselves to more sun (yeah!) but also this increases our exposure to environmental toxins.
Of course, I have a few words of guidance about this - immune support and increase the antioxidants. Let's start with immune support. Vitamin C is always the good old fashioned place to start. 2,000 mg per day in divided doses is what I usually recommend. I like Vitamin C that comes partnered with bioflavonoids. Also, you can incorporate raw, living food that supplies this like citrus fruits (the fruit, not the juice), hibiscus, rose hips (both as a tea) and bell peppers. A couple of herbs are really good at supporting immune function like Elderberry, Astragalus and Ashwaghanda. All of those can be taken as a tea or tincture. Get plenty of rest, reduce sugar in the diet and avoid processed foods.
As for antioxidants - the big ones are Vitamin C, Vitamin E, CoQ10, Glutathione and NAC. They work together so I usually suggest a combined product for these. I have chosen a new product, see below, and am very excited about it! Fresh, living fruits and vegetables go a long way to providing antioxidants to the body as does staying well hydrated and well rested.
I have made a few product switches and have been telling you all about them as we follow up. But for those of that I no longer work with on a regular basis or for people on my mailing list who are not a patient, I thought I would make a note of them.
First, the antioxidant formula. I was using Quench, it is no longer made. Then I moved to Ultimate Antioxidants which is still good but my most current favorite is call Cardio Protect. I know is has Cardio in the name but it is a really great antioxidant formula, good for everyone. Here is a link to it on Emerson.
Second, Adrenotone. For all of you on some kind of formula to rejuvenate your adrenals, I have switched to Innate Adrenal Response. It has some amazing results and I love this whole-food based company. The link to it on Emerson.
In June, I am hosting a Teleseminar, Natural First Aid for Bites and Stings. We will cover a number of natural approaches to dealing with bites, stings and poison ivy. Please RSVP by emailing Dr. Camp.
The date will be:
June 4, 8:00 PM EST.
Once you RSVP you will be sent call information. This is free and people have always been very happy they attended. It takes about an hour and you will receive a handout that summarizes the information.
